The turn out was really good for the second Junior match in the series which was fished at Goose Green.  We were pleased to welcome 4 new Pulborough anglers who all managed to catch on a difficult day.  Pulborough blue team secured a win through two section wins and an equal third place.

League Standings after two matches

The sun shone down on 8 enthusiastic young anglers’ ages ranging from 8 years to 15 years. The venue was Deep Lake at Goose Green. You could have been fooled into thinking they were all seasoned match anglers.

The match was not to achieve large nets of fish but to brush up those rusty skills after the winter break. Fish were caught by all the anglers so there were smiles all round, we like to encourage the fun of catching fish and to enjoy the rewards of the hard work that is put into a match.
